Privacy Policy
A plain-language summary of what personal data this website collects, why, and what rights you have.
Who we are
This website is run by Anderseen Digital, a small team based in Estonia. We are the controller of the personal data described below. If you have any question about this policy, you can reach us through our contact page.
What data we collect
Contact form. When you send us a message, we collect the name, email address and message text you type into the form. We use this only to read and reply to your message.
Website usage data. Like most websites, our server receives technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type and the pages you request. We also use Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags on this site. Depending on how those tags are configured, they may set cookies or collect information about how visitors use the site, for example which pages are viewed and whether a contact form is submitted.
We do not knowingly collect data from children, and we do not sell your personal data.
Why we use your data, and our legal basis
- To answer your enquiry. If you contact us, we process your details to reply and to discuss possible work together. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to you, and steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract.
- To understand and improve the website. We use usage data to see what content is useful and whether the site is working properly. The legal basis is your consent where the law requires it for cookies and similar technologies, and otherwise our legitimate interest in improving the site.
- To keep the site secure. We may process technical data to prevent abuse and spam, based on our legitimate interest.
Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Cookies set by measurement tags on this site help us understand how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Blocking them will not stop you from using the site or sending us a message.
Who we share data with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the site, and only as needed. These include our website hosting and website platform provider, our email provider (which receives contact form messages), and Google, whose Tag Manager service is used on this site. These providers process data on our behalf or under their own privacy terms, and some may be located outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer, such as standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep data
We keep contact form messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards in case of follow-up questions, unless we are required to keep them longer, for example for accounting or legal reasons. If we start working together, we keep the information needed for that relationship. Usage data is kept for the periods set by the tools that collect it.
Your rights
Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your data;
- ask us to restrict or object to how we use your data;
- ask for your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.
To use any of these rights, send us a message through our contact page. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Estonia this is the Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon), or the authority in the country where you live or work.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.
